I’m Mark Thomas and I’m a Voiceover artist and Audiobook narrator based on the south coast of the UK.
I have a light British English voice which is upbeat, assured, friendly, straight-forward and genuine.
I have my own home studio which, along with an equipment list, can be see here. This enables me to have a very quick turnaround on any voiceover work you require.
I was also in the Royal Navy for 13 years, and worked as an IT Manager for a further 16. The IT experience helps me keep my studio and equipment running smoothly, and the Navy experience helps me swear like a sailor when it doesn’t!
Terms and Conditions for working with me
Voice/Production Revision Re-Takes:
Upon acceptance of the final version of CLIENT copy and subsequent delivery of the recorded version (possibly watermarked for review), and within 30 days, CLIENT may request up to one (1) re-take as it relates to clarity, pronunciation, interpretation or overall narrative feel. Further re-takes will be charged at 50% of original cost. Technical/pronunciation errors will be corrected without cost.
Script Revisions / Additional Recording:
REVISIONS made to the accepted final copy as provided by the CLIENT after the initial recording has been completed where a new recording is requested will be considered a chargeable service. This will be set-aside during DIRECTED sessions via Skype or other phone patch when a session fee is being paid.
Audition Submissions Acceptable Use:
Recordings submitted to CLIENT as an audition or proof may be used solely for the appraisal and review by those directly involved in the talent selection or proof listening process. Publishing or distribution of the submitted audition or proof for peer review, promotional or entertainment purposes should be subject to the explicit knowledge and agreement of the TALENT, be considered as use of the TALENT’s services, and be subject to payment at an appropriate rate.
Marketing and Promotion:
CLIENT agrees to provide TALENT with the final version of the completed project for use in marketing and promotional material in support of TALENT’s services if appropriate.
Payment Terms and Deposits:
Upon final agreement of work order scope and CLIENT copy has been received, a DEPOSIT of 50% is required for work to begin. Recorded files will be delivered with electronic watermark for review. Upon CLIENT acceptance, final payment is to be received prior to release of a clean recording. All other billing arrangements should be considered “Due On Receipt”.
Acceptable payment methods are PayPal or direct Bank Account Transfer. Payment via PayPal will incur a 4% surcharge.
