South Coast Voices Privacy Statement
South Coast Voices (SCV) values its clients, and feels that privacy around personal, and identifiable data should be paramount in any organisations mind when dealing with their clients.
From 25th May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes in to force in the UK.
These mandate much stricter rules around how data is collected, stored, used, and deleted – With a much greater emphasis on ‘opting in’ to marketing communications. It’s no longer enough to rely on implicit consent, or silence as permission to send communications, as with the previous data protection regulations.
This statement is to reassure our clients that any data given to SCV is stored securely, only used for the purposes agreed between us, and will be deleted upon request, or when no longer required.
We do not make use of mailing lists, or fire-and-forget mail-shots. Any communication we send you will be personalised, and for valid business reasons – almost certainly introducing our voiceover services, which we believe will benefit both of us.
When someone visits our website – www.southcoastvoices.co.uk – we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personally identifiable information that we hold. Email your request to Mark Thomas at [email protected].
This policy will be review at least annually.
